Brian was born and raised in Boston. He was wicked funny, smart and talented.
Brian moved to Chicago after college to work at Leo Burnett, one of the largest ad agencies in the world. He left Burnett to get an MBA at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, and then moved to NYC to become the Director of Retail Marketing and Advertising for Polo Ralph Lauren.
Brian loved Polo and NYC, but he was eager to try something different, so he moved to Nashville to write music. He had many songs recorded, some of which were featured in TV shows and movies. But Brian stopped writing when he realized that he got more creative satisfaction from painting than from music. So paint he did. Day and night. With a frenzied passion of an artist truly in his element.
Brian's art is offered for sale in galleries around the world, and,
Brian died in his adopted hometown of Nashville, Tennessee in May 2020. His family and friends miss him greatly, but Brian's memory lives on in his brilliant pop art. We hope you enjoy experiencing Nashville artist Brian Nash's paintings as much as he enjoyed creating them.
